Abstract

Animation is not only used for entertainment; it can also be used for educational media, information, and other purposes. This study aims to describe the implementation of teaching Arabic speaking skills using animated film media. The method used in this study is library research. Data was obtained from literature related to animation media, and the results are presented narratively. The result of implementing animated films for teaching Arabic speaking skills are: teachers guide students to get to know the subject matter by adjusting the student's situation, students watch video recordings of Arabic animated films, then students practice speaking Arabic with predetermined topics using the terms used in the movie that has been watched in class. This test was conducted to determine students' Arabic language skills after watching and listening to Arabic cartoons.
